Special May MITI

I’m doing a special Make-It/Take-It this month on the first Friday. It features four  mix-and-match cards to choose from. They’re good for any theme: Wedding, Graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Happy Birthday or Just Because. There are stamps to cover all those occasions and a few more. We’ll be using metallic paper from SEI’s luscious Couture line–I fell in love instantly. Each card is mounted on beautiful silver glossy card stock that makes these cards look extra special. Join me Friday, May 6, drop in starting at earlier — at 6 p.m.– till 8ish, at Stampin’ From the Heart, 11720 Washington Place (at McLaughlin Ave.). ATCs All Buttoned Up and Lacy

I’m taking the vintage lace and buttons theme to extremes with color-rich fluid acrylic paints–my absolute fave–playing a major role.  Everything’s bright and beachy in preparation for summer. Trading is optional, but if you wish to go home with little works of art by others in the group, bring around 10 cards of your own design to trade–plus one for me and one for Karen’s store collection. Real Vintage Postcards

I found some very neat old papers in an antique store and that’s what inspired the postcards for this Vintage theme. For an extra touch, we’ll be using some special iridescent buttons that came from an estate sale. Trust me, the photo doesn’t do them justice.
