We’ll be making beautiful Valentine’s (or other occasion) cards on Friday, Jan. 8 — yes, that’s this week!!!! Be at Stampin From the Heart between 6:30 and 8ish p.m. to join in the fun. Featured will be four lovely papers from My Mind’s Eye–one is more scrumptious than the next. Stamping From the Heart, 11720 Washington Place, L.A. om 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. We’ll turn a dictionary page into a mini work of art and add some embellishments! At the end you’ll have a lovely postcard to send to someone special or just put up on the bulletin board. Once I got started, I just couldn’t stop, so there’s 6 different designs. Each postcard has the word “cherish” on it somewhere. And the best part is that I’ll be bringing the entire collection of Distress inks for you to color-coordinate as desired. Feel free to bring your own images if you want to personalize your cards (Finished card is 3 3/4 by 5 inches).

Hope to see you at the Oct. 9 Make-It/Take-It at Stampin’ From the Heart. This time you get to choose your color scheme and materials for a series of dotted cards I just couldn’t get enough of. Six styles to choose from. And yes, and your eyes don’t deceive you, a couple of them are GREEN!! (See below) Miracles do happen. We get started officially at 6:30 p.m., but some people have been known to get going a little earlier. Cost per card is $5. You can do as many as you like.

New twist on Old Times
