The latest Stampin’ From the Heart Extravaganza (June 2011) was a roaring success. Everyone had fun, and there was lots of delicious food. Does it get any better than that? Anyway, I wanted to post my Extravaganza project, since up till the day of the event, everything is hush-hush, Top Secret. The people who attend get a generous goodie bag and in it were the stamps chosen by teachers for the day’s events, plus some other great stuff. The star of the show for my project was Shimmer Paints, which are subtle and dramatic at the same time. We painted our birds (and so many of the attendees did such a detailed and fabulous job on theirs–much better than my sort of slap-dash approach to painting–I was in awe. The stamp I chose was Timely Bird by Hero Arts, and I believe Karen still has a few–as well as the paint sets–available for purchase.
