I just never get tired of making Artist Trading Cards. The are so tiny that I can finish one off in 20-30 minutes, but sometimes it takes longer. I usually make a batch of them at one time, sifting through my scrap basket and pulling out treasures. I have a stack of prepared ATC backgrounds and I just line them up on the table and start finding pieces that work with the color or feel of the card. It loosens me up creatively when I am blocked, entertains me when I am bored and inspires me before launching on a big project. The only thing I don’t like about Artist Trading Cards is having to give them away. That kind of defeats the purpose, but I want to keep them.
