The May 2009 Make-It/Take-It at Stampin’ From the Heart in Los Angeles was a great success. Everyone had fun and all the cards and tags turned out great. We had two young stampers in our midst, compliments of their Auntie Michelle, and the budding artists showed alot of creative spirit.
I couldn’t stop making these luscious items myself and after the MITI went home and had a little make-and-take party of my own. The tags, topped with beautiful ribbons in all colors, were the perfect goodies for my college gal pals at our recent mini-reunion in Palm Springs (along with some great beaded charm bracelets I found at the recent Bead Show in Santa Monica). Of course, I left the back of the tags blank so they could use them with a gift for someone special.
Have a wonderful, creative day,
If you have seen (or even touched) those packages of beautiful foil leafing and never knew what to do with them, here’s your chance to find out. The ATC Club (new members always welcome) will try it’s hand at leafing using two methods. I’ll demonstrate two techniques and then you’ll get a chance to make one ATC using each method. Don’t forget to bring at least 6 of your own ATCs (any topic or style) to trade. See the What’s an ATC? link, at right, for details on the ATC Club.
ATC Club, Stampin’ From the Heart, Los Angeles, May 20, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m, Cost $10. All materials provided.
Hi Card Lovers,
I’m new to this blogging thing–in fact my daughter is walking me through it right now! BUT, I am taking this challenge on so I can keep YOU, my avid fans, aware of my class schedule. So, bear with me while I figure this blogging thing out–you are my motivation! Below is my first image that I put in a blog!
Next month, I have several paper arts classes arranged in the Los Angeles area, so stay tuned.
With my granddaughter, Ariana at her 5th Birthday!
