Putting the ATC in Butterflies

Standard

Tintz ATCs For October’s ATC Night we’ll be putting the ATC into butterflies: Amazing Tintz Creations. Our fall Project Night will consist of coloring some embossed papers by Mike Strong and then creating our own custom-colored tissue papers for the butterfly. The result is Awesome, Textural, Colorful. We’ll be using my favorite ink dispensers: the Tintz daubers. They are so much fun and so versatile. And I have to warn you, especially if you just had your nails done, it could get a little messy. So bring protective hand-gear. You just won’t want to miss this one.

What’s an ATC? Check the Page on this site for details.

October Make and Take

This month, we’ll be combining Tattered Angels bingo cards with Golden Fluid Acrylic paints for a new twist on Bingo: The winning square is an image from B-Line Design’s Bella Twosie cube stamp. With a couple of more embellishments, of course. It all happens Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Stampin’ From the Heart, 11720 Washington Place, Los Angeles. Call 310-391-0466 for directions. Make-It-Take-It starts at 6:30 and end about 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per card. Do one or more as supplies last. All materials are supplied by Los Angeles-based paper and book artist Jessica Hollowell, your instructor for the evening. Hope to see you there.
